What You Will Be Doing
- Designing, scripting and debugging tests via various automation tooling.- Collaborating cross-team to recommend improvements to test systems.- Promoting the use of best practices within team and suggests improvements as necessary to improve the efficiency and quality of the work produced by the team.- Collaborating with stakeholders, PMs, Developers and SDETs to become a domain expert in one or more areas.- Attending standups, defining testability for feature areas, and assisting in the documentation of existing business rules.- Collaborating on requirements gathering and defining test criteria.- Defining overall quality and testing strategy for feature ownership.- Creating test plans and test cases for existing and new features.- Performing cross-platform testing to ensure robustness across all usage scenarios.- Reporting overall test and code coverage.- Evaluating test results, analyzing results for trends and common issues and file bugs.
What You Need for this Position
- 2+ years of development and/or SDET related experience.- Proficiency with identifying, replicating and reporting bugs using defect tracking software.-
Experience building automated GUI test suites.Nice to Haves:- Selenium experience.- Background developing software testing tools and test suites in various languages (e.g. PHP, Ruby, Python, Perl, and/or shell).
