This add is for a room in Laurel House. I need someone to sublease from me so that I can break my contract with College Houses, the management company of Laurel House. College Houses only accepts students pursuing a higher education at an accredited university, or instructers at an accredited university, including ACC or UT Austin. Laurel is a Cooperative house that works to make housing affordable for students pursing a higher education. It is vaguely apartment style, but with a communal, industrial kitchen, a laundry room, and a shared courtyard, gym, study rooms, tv rooms and dining room. Laurel houses around 60 people. Rent for a shared room is $658, a single room is $862. 17 MEALS A WEEK ARE INCLUDED. There are no utility bills, and internet is included. Each person living in Laurel is expected to do 4 hours of labor per week- this is how they keep down the cost of living for students. Small pets and cats are allowed. Laurel has a ground floor parking garage. Parking passes are available with proof of insurance. STUDENTS LOOKING TO LIVE IN LAUREL MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION ONLINE AT THE COLLEGE HOUSES .
