I am UT MBA grad and currently the President of the McCombs Alumni of Austin chapter. We plan and host events for the alumni around the city - art gallery parties, breakfast meetings, entrepreneurship programs, organic gardening, sporting events, etc. I currently live in the South Lamar [xxxx4] area but would like to live closer to the campus. I build and fund start-ups and tech companies. In addition to my current consulting business, I am starting a project with 3 current Computer Science students and would like to see if the Hyde Park area would be a better place to live. It would be nice to live closer to them as well as their schedules are somewhat erratic and we have a lot of work and funding plans to prepare. I will eventually buy or rent a house on my own in the neighborhood. I am a professional and understand privacy, boundaries and the need for a stress-free environment.
